In rare instances on Widnows-based PCs, SYNC may fail to display the status overlay on files that have synced, or are currently syncing, with the cloud-based server.
Status overlays are the green checkmark or blue swirl symbols that indicate whether a file (or folder) is in sync or is currently syncing with the server.
Windows imposes a hard limit on file status overlays allowed by the system. If a computer has more than one program running these overlays (i.e. Dropbox or another sync/backup utility), the resolution below may not work.
